Garlic Cheese Biscuits

These easy to make cheese biscuits go well with casseroles, soups, stews or just as a snack
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
3 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
2/3 cup milk
1 tbsp garlic (pureed in the jar)
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese ( i prefer medium or old)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450
2. Mix everything together leaving the cheese til last - knead well and roll out onto floured board to about 3/4 inch thick. I use a drinking glass to make the cut outs. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for about 10 min. Serve warm
3. For an extra garlic kick brush the tops before baking with melted garlic butter
