Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened |
2 large garlic cloves, pressed |
4 teaspoons chopped fresh basil |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 (16-ounce) french bread loaf, split horizontally |
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded italian six-cheese blend |
Directions:
1. Stir together first 4 ingredients in a small bowl until well blended; spread mixture evenly on cut sides of bread halves. Sprinkle evenly with cheese. Place on a baking sheet. 2. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted. 3. *1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning may be substituted. |
