GARDEN SALSA This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the McBride Estate in Austin, Texas in 1994.
Ingredients:
6 medium tomatoes finely chopped
3/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
6 garlic cloves minced
2 teaspoons cider vinegar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons minced jalapeno pepper
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
tortilla chips
Directions:
1. In large bowl combine the first 12 ingredients. 2. Cover and refrigerate until serving then serve with chips.
