A substantial start to the day
Ingredients:
2 oz oats
2 oz dried apricots, chopped
1 oz raisins
2 teaspoons pumpkin seeds
1/4 pint milk
1/4 pint water
1 teaspoon honey
Directions:
1. Place the chopped apricots, rolled oats, raisins, milk and water in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
2. Cook and stir for 2 or 3 minutes then turn off the heat, replace the lid and allow to stand for 10 minutes
3. Finally stir in the pumpkin seeds and serve with the honey drizzled over the top
