Frosted No-Roll Sugar Cookie

Based on a Betty Crocker sugar cookie with the additional of delicious buttercream frosting
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 egg
2 1/3 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups confectioner's sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. half and half cream
Directions:
1. Cream the sugar and the 1 cup of butter, softened.
2. Add the vanilla, nutmeg, and egg.
3. Sift the flour and baking soda together, then add to mixture gradually.
4. Roll into 1 balls and place on ungreased baking sheets 2 apart. Flatten with meat tenderizer.
5. Bake in 375 oven for 11 - 14 minutes.
6. After cooling, frost with buttercream frosting:
7. Measure the confectioner's sugar, soft 1/4 cup butter cut into chunks, the 1 tsp. vanilla, and 3 tbsp. of half and half. Beat until fluffy.
