Very common in the country, in the ranchs
Ingredients:
2 cups beans
3 slices bacon
1/2 tomato
1/4 cup onion
onion salt
60 g pork sausage
1/2 cup tomato puree
2 teaspoons tabasco sauce
Directions:
1. Cook the beans the normal way.
2. Separate the beans and the juice.
3. In another pot put the juice; add the tomato and the onion.
4. Cut the bacon in small pieces and the sausage too.
5. Put the bacon and the sausage in the microwave for 1 minute on medium.
6. Put in the pot the bacon and the sausage.
7. Boil, all together, do not add water yet.
8. Add some Tabasco or chili powder if you have.
9. Boil it until the sousa has the flavor of the bacon and the sausage.
10. Then add a lit bit of water, and let it boil for 1 minute.
11. Then add the beans, and let it boil for 3 minutes.
12. Keep stirring it.
