Frijoles Borrachitos (Refried Beans W/ Beer)

Turn canned into homemade!
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon canola oil
2 jalapenos, seeded, stemmed, & minced
1 large red onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 (14 ounce) can black beans
1 (14 ounce) can red kidney beans
1 (14 ounce) can pinto beans
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
12 -24 ounces guinness stout
salt (to taste)
Directions:
1. In large pan saute onions & garlic until translucent.
2. Add jalapenos & saute until lightly browned.
3. Add black beans (rinsed & drained), and kidney & pinto beans (undrained).
4. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 90 minutes. Add beer as needed to maintain liquid level.
5. Mash & mix with potato masher. Add salt to taste & serve!
