This poboy straight out of the Crescent City delights the tastebuds and gives a longing to travel.
Ingredients:
handful of raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. corn meal
1 t. creole seasoning
french bread
lettuce
tomato
pickle
creole mustard
Directions:
1. Peel and devein your raw shrimp
2. Soak the shrimp in buttermilk
3. mix the cornmeal together with the creole seasoning
4. Coat the shrimp in the cornmeal seasoning mix
5. Deep fry the shrimp in 350 degrees until cooked through
6. Open your French bread
7. On top side coat with creole mustard
8. on bottom put lettuce, tomato, and pickle
9. in between these add your shrimp and enjoy.
