Ingredients:
1 cup thinly sliced shallots
2 tablespoons salad oil
Directions:
1. In an 8- to 10-inch frying pan over medium heat, stir shallots in oil until crisp and golden, 6 to 10 minutes (shallots will absorb most of the oil).
