Ingredients:
1/2 cup thinly sliced shallots
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Directions:
1. In a 6- to 8-inch frying pan over medium heat, stir 1/2 cup thinly sliced shallots in 1 tablespoon vegetable oil until crisp and golden, 6 to 10 minutes (shallots will absorb most of the oil).
