I found this on the internet and thank you to Chef Brian Johnson for this delicious Fried Rice.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced
1/2-1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes
1/4 cup red pepper, diced about 1/2 pepper
1/2 cup broccoli floret, blanched
1/4 cup green onion, diced
1/4 cup carrot, shredded, small dice
1/4 cup red onion, diced
1/2 lb cooked shrimp
3 cups white rice, cooked, chilled
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Directions:
1. This goes very quickly so be sure you have everything cut up and ready to go before starting.
2. Heat saute pan or wok over med. high heat. When hot add the oil, garlic and ginger and saute for 30 sec.
3. Quickly add all the vegetables and saute for 1.5 minute stirring often.
4. Add shrimp and cook to heat shrimp about 1 minute.
5. Add the cooked rice and stir.
6. Add the soy sauce and sesame oil and cook until rice is hot.
7. Serve immediately.
