Fried Oysters

This is an old standby that is very quick and easy. My wife was reluctant to try these but now she requests them. ENJOY!
Ingredients:
equipment
deep heavy pan (dutch oven)
gallon zipper bag
colander
oysters
1 pint fresh or packaged shucked oysters.
2 cups italian style seasoned breadcrumbs.
peanut oil, enough to deep fry. (or whatever oil you use for frying)
Directions:
1. Heat oil to 350F in heavy pan.
2. Drain oysters in colander.
3. Put breadcrumbs in zipper bag.
4. Add oysters to bag, seal, and shake to coat oysters with breadcrumbs.
5. Fry for 2-3 minutes. DO NOT OVERCOOK!
6. Remove from oil and drain on paper.
7. Try not to bite your fingers when eating these. They are very good!
