This recipe is native to Poland. Very easy to make and delectable. Ingredients:
1 lb small fresh mushrooms |
1 egg, beaten |
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs |
salt and pepper |
dried basil or thyme |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine |
Directions:
1. Dip mushrooms into beaten egg. 2. Coat mushrooms with bread crumbs seasoned with salt and pepper, basil or thyme. 3. Cook mushrooms and onion in butter in skillet, turning occasionally, until mushrooms are tender and golden brown, 7 to 8 minutes. |
