Fried Mozzarella Italian Style

Ingredients:
12 ounces of fresh mozzarella
2 eggs beaten
1/2 cup of extra-virgin olive oil
2 cups of italian style bread crumbs
1 cup of flour
1 tsp of dried oregano
1 tsp of garlic powder
2 tsp of fresh flat leaf parsley
10 sprigs of fresh basil
1 teaspoon of fresh crushed black pepper
salt to taste
Directions:
1. Slice the cheese into 1/2 inch slices.
2. In a small bowl beat eggs
3. Mix in salt and pepper to flour.
4. Mix in garlic powder and parsley to bread crumbs.
5. Coat each slice of cheese with the flour mixture.
6. Dip into the beaten eggs.
7. Coat with the bread crumbs.
8. Heat oil in a large frying pan.
9. Fry cheese around two minutes on each side.
10. Drain on a paper towel.
11. Serve topped with your favorite marinara sauce.
12. Sprinkle some dried oregano on top.
13. Garnish with fresh basil
