Fried Home-Style Potatoes

This recipe is from Paula Deen. It calls for her house seasoning and the recipe is included for that. I make up a batch of the house seasoning and use it for other recipes. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
6 small yukon gold potatoes
peanut oil, for frying
1 cup salt
1/4 cup black pepper
1/4 cup garlic powder
Directions:
1. In a large Dutch oven or deep-fryer, pour oil to a depth of 2-inches.
2. Preheat oil over medium-high heat to 350 degrees F.
3. Wash potatoes and pat dry.
4. Cut each potato crosswise into 1/8-inch thick slices.
5. Fry potatoes in batches for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden.
6. Drain on paper towels.
7. Sprinkle with House Seasoning.
8. Serve immediately.
