Fried Fish Balls

This is a nice appetizer for fish lovers. I found it in a vintage community cookbook! 8)
Ingredients:
2 1/2 lbs fresh fish, ground fine
2 tablespoons flour or 2 tablespoons mashed potatoes
2 eggs
1 pint milk
1/2 chopped onion
salt (optional)
pepper (optional)
nutmeg (optional)
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients until light.
2. Form into balls.
3. Fry in butter!
