This is a great fried egg sammie that my grannie made and I've made since I began cooking. It's different, but oh so good!
Ingredients:
2 slices toasted bread
1 egg, fried hard
peanut butter
salt
pepper
bacon (optional)
Directions:
1. While bread is toasting fry egg hard in a nonstick skillet.
2. Spread toasted bread with a generous slather of peanut butter.
3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Top with the fried egg and enjoy!
5. For a heartier sammie with some crunch, add a few slices of crispy bacon.
