Times are tough, So let's make a bologna sandwich! This one is grilled, using great rolls, cheese and whatever you like to add! A classic sandwich loved by all. Kids love this, and you will too. The BBQ sauce adds a whole different flavor. Read more .. Memories...
Ingredients:
4 sandwich rolls
8 thick slices of deli bologna ( sliced thick)
2 tbs butter
4 slices of cheese ( your favorite)
fresh lettuce
mustard
mayonaise
bbq sauce
sliced bananna peppers (hint, great addition)
pickles
Directions:
1. Put butter in a frying pan and heat to medium.
2. Add the bologna and fry a few minutes till turning light brown.
3. Remove the meat from the pan.
4. Toast the bread in the pan, add the cheese on top of the bread the last few seconds and let melt slightly. Remove.
5. Add The bologna to the sandwich and garnish with the rest of the ingredients.
6. Serve with chips and pickles.
7. P.S- If using the BBQ sauce, reduce the amount of butter to 1 TBS and fry the bologna in 2 TBS of BBQ sauce!
