Fresh Tomato Soup

This is from the Frugal Gourmet - very basic, nothing fancy.
Ingredients:
6 tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
3 tablespoons margarine
3 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
1. Melt margarine in a large skillet.
2. Add tomatoes and saute until they collapse, about 10 minutes.
3. Add chicken broth.
4. Simmer until tender, about 20 minutes.
5. Blend in a food processor, or use a stick blender.
6. Add milk, salt and pepper, and warm gently.
