My family loves the fresh flavor of this salsa. The only problem is you will want to eat the whole batch in one sitting!
Ingredients:
1 onion, peeled
1 garlic clove
1/4-1 jalapeno pepper, cored and seeded
4 tomatoes
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, packed or 1 teaspoon dried cilantro
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 tablespoon lime juice
salt and pepper
hot sauce (optional)
Directions:
1. Using chopping/mixing blade in your food processor, drop onion, garlic, clove, and hot pepper through the food chute and chop until finely minced.
2. Stop processor.
3. Add tomatoes, cilantro, cumin, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
4. Pulse until desired texture.
5. Add hot sauce if desired.
