Fresh Lemon Pound Cake

Great pound cake. So full of lemony flavor. Hope you enjoy as much as we do.
Ingredients:
3-1/2 cups sifted cake flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
6 large eggs
1 scant cup milk
1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon extract
powdered sugar for serving
Directions:
1. Place an oven rack in the middle of oven and preheat oven to 300.
2. Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
3. In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking powder and salt.
4. In a large bowl cream butter and shortening with an electric mixer then gradually add sugar beating until light and fluffy.
5. Beat in eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
6. On low speed add flour mixture alternately with milk beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
7. Stir in lemon zest, vanilla extract and lemon extract.
8. Scrape the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
9. Bake for 1-1/2 hours.
10. Let cake cool in the pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes then invert the cake onto the rack and let cool completely.
11. Just before serving dust cake with confectioners' sugar.
