Fresh Ginger Tea

This is great hot or chilled.
Ingredients:
1 cup gingerroot, peeled, sliced in thick slices
1 lemon, sliced
1 cup sugar
water
Directions:
1. Bring 6 cups of water to boil.
2. Add sliced ginger root, remove from heat, and cover.
3. Let stand for half an hour, then add a sliced-up lemon and 1 cup sugar.
4. Stir to dissolve sugar.
5. Add 2-3 more cups water then pour into ice-filled glasses.
