Fresh Ginger Infused Lemonade

This is a great refreshing recipe I created. Make sure to use fresh squeezed lemon juice.
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 tablespoons finley chopped peeled fresh ginger
1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice
4 cups water
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan stir together ginger, sugar, and 1 cup of water, bring to a boil, then set aside and let cool completly.
2. Strain the ginger simple syrup into a pitcher and discard ginger, stir in lemon juice and 4 cups of water. Chill before serving.
