Ingredients:
4 cups fresh cranberries
1/2 cup cold water
2-1/2 cups water
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
2 cups granulated sugar
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
Directions:
1. Turn temperature control of refrigerator to coldest setting.
2. Cook cranberries in water covered until skins pop open.
3. Force through sieve then add sugar and gelatin softened in cold water.
4. Heat until gelatin dissolves then cool and add lemon juice.
5. Pour into freezing tray then freeze until firm.
6. Turn into chilled bowl with electric mixer or egg beater and beat until thick and mushy.
7. Quickly return mixture to freezing tray and freeze until just firm.
