Fresh Coconut Pie

Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
6 whole eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup grated coconut
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 pinch salt
Directions:
1. Beat sugar and eggs together until fluffy.
2. Stir in milk and butter.
3. Mix well.
4. Stir in 3/4 cup coconut and pinch of salt.
5. Pout into pie shell and bake 30 minutes at 350.
6. Make meringue of 4 egg whites,beaten stiff,1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp baking powder.
7. Spread on pie,sprinkle with remaning coconut and bake at 300 for 15 minutes.
