A sauce to toss wih pasta. Or to use in any recipe that calls for pesto.
Ingredients:
1 cup tightly packed fresh basil
1 cup tightly packed fresh parsley leaves
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon ground cilantro
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in food processor.
2. Cover and puree until smooth.
3. Refrigerate for several weeks, or freeze for 6 months.
4. Toss with hot pasta.
