French-Style Green Beans

Ingredients:
3/4 pound fresh green beans, ends trimmed and strings removed
1 tablespoon fat-free margarine
3/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons sliced almonds, toasted
Directions:
1. Slice beans in half lengthwise. Melt margarine in a large skillet. Add beans, and sauté 5 minutes. Add chicken broth, pepper, and salt. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes.
2. Combine cornstarch and water; pour over beans. Cook, tossing gently, 1 minute. Stir in lemon juice. Just before serving, sprinkle with toasted almonds.
