French Onion Rice Casserole

This is really easy to go together, and tastes so good with Sunday roast and dinner rolls!
Ingredients:
1 (10-1/2 ounce) can french onion soup
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 (4-1/2 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms
1 (8-ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, undrained
1 cup uncooked regular rice
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350-degrees F.
2. Lightly grease a 10- x 6- x 2-inch baking dish.
3. Combine soup and butter; stir well.
4. Drain mushrooms and water chestnuts, -reserving- liquid.
5. Add enough water to reserved liquid to equal 1-1/3 cups.
6. Add mushrooms, water chestnuts, liquid and rice to soup mixture; stir well.
7. Pour into baking dish.
8. Cover with foil and bake for about 1 hour.
