French Bean Salad With Garlic Bacon Vinaigrette

Another great recipe I obtained from a co-worker who brought these to a recent potluck. This is a very pretty and very tasty salad that goes great with just about anything.
Ingredients:
4 cups fresh green beans trimmed
dressing
5 strips sliced smoked bacon
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon garlic chopped
1 tablespoon
3 shallots chopped
1 tablespoon fresh thyme chopped
1 tablespoon fresh tarragon chopped
2 tablespoons sherry vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 ounces feta cheese crumbled
Directions:
1. Cook green beans in salted water until tender about 5 minutes.
2. Cool in iced water to retain color then drain and pat dry.
3. Set aside while preparing dressing.
4. In skillet sauté sliced bacon in olive oil.
5. Add garlic, shallots, thyme and tarragon then cook 3 minutes and remove from heat.
6. Stir in vinegar then season with salt and pepper.
7. Mix beans with warm vinaigrette and top with crumbled feta cheese.
