Frangelico Fruit Salad

Quick fruit salad with a twist given by the famous Italian hazelnut liquor Frangelico. If not available, try any other nut liquor of your choice. We like it served at room temperature, but it would also be delicious cooled in the fridge for a while.
Ingredients:
1 pound fruit of your choice, peeled and cubed (i used raspberries, cherries, figs, tangerines and kiwi fruit)
1 cup fresh orange juice
2 tsp firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup frangelico liquor
1 cup whipping cream
2 tbsp white sugar
1 tsp lemon zest
2 tsp toasted hazelnut, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
1. Arrange fruit in a medium bowl. Add juice, brown sugar and Frangelico liquor. Let it rest for at least 1 hour, stirring twice.
2. In the meanwhile, whip cream with sugar and zest.
3. For serving, arrange fruit along with the marinating liquid on individual glasses, scoop whipped cream on top and garnish with the chopped nuts.
4. You can drizzle a little more of the Frangelico liquor on top when ready to serve.
