Fondue Herb Sauce

I use this sauce for many dishes. Wonderful taste. Prep time does not include chill time.
Ingredients:
2 egg yolks
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
fresh ground pepper
1 1/2 cups salad oil
1/2 cup chives, chopped
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon onion, grated
Directions:
1. Beat yolks until frothy. Beat in lemon juice,salt & pepper. Beat in oil, about a teaspoon at a time until 1/2 cup has been added. Add rest of oil more quickly, about a tablespoon at a time. Beat until like mayonnaise. May not need all the oil.
2. Stir in chives, parsley & onion. Chill until ready to serve.
