This dough reminds me of hawaiian bread but not as sweet. They're tender, fluffy and delicious when eaten warm from the oven. I've made hamburger buns, sausage rolls, dinner rolls and cresents... lots of possiblities! Read more !
Ingredients:
1 cup warm milk (70 to 80 degrees f)
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
2 organic eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
4 cups bread flour
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
Directions:
1. In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select dough setting (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed).
2. When cycle is completed, turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Divide into portions and shape as desired. Place in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 15 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees F for 13-16 minutes or until golden brown.
