Nutritious loaf made with applesauce in place of butter.
Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons flax seeds
2 tablespoons wheat bran
2 tablespoons sugar substitute
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons applesauce
2 tablespoons skim milk
1 egg white
Directions:
1. Combine all dry ingredients.
2. Combine all wet ingredients.
3. Mix together.
4. Knead for 1 minute and form into 6 inch diameter.
5. Place on non-stick baking pan.
6. Bake for 35-40 minutes in 375° oven.
