Ingredients:
1 vanilla bean, split in half lengthwise
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/4 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, not cold
1/2 cup hulled, sliced strawberries or 1/2 cup raspberries or 1/2 cup blueberries
Directions:
1. Using a paring knife scrape vanilla seeds into a food processor and add sugar, almond extract, butter and pulse until mixture is smooth. Serve on toast. For the berry butters add berries with other ingredients pulse until smooth. Place in small ramekins for serving
