Camping/canoeing recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups white sugar
2 cups margarine or 2 cups butter
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup light corn syrup
9 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 cup sliced almonds or 1 cup other nutmeats
1 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
1.
Cream together first 4 ingredients until smooth.
2.
Add and incorporate the last 3 ingredients.
3.
Spread mixture onto a greased pan about 1/2 inch thick.
4.
Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown (15 to 20 minutes).
