These are really fantastic fish tacos. You can really use any fish you like...red snapper, halibut, cod, tilapia, even shrimp. I briol the fish because I dont have a grill, but these would be great with grilled fish.
Ingredients:
fish
1 lb fish of your choice
cumin
chili powder
garlic salt
sauce
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 lemon, juiced
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon dill
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 pkg fajita size flour tortillas
1 pkg cole slaw mix
2 cups shredded monterey jack cheese
Directions:
1. Season fish with cumin, chili powder, and garlic salt to taste.
2. Broil or grill fish until it flakes easily with fork, a few minutes a side.
3. For sauce, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, cumin, dill, and garlic salt.
4. Add lemon juice until sauce is nice consistancy, not too thick, but slightly runny.
5. For the tortilla shells, you can have soft or you can fry them if you prefer crispy shells.
6. To assemble put some fish in the tortilla, top with some cheese, and cabbage then pour on the sauce.
7. Enjoy!
