Firecracker Pasta Salad

Got this of the back of a Muller's pasta box. A great way to utilize leftover BBQ or Deli meats.
Ingredients:
13.5 oz whole wheat rotini
1 cup yellow onion, diced
1 cup green bell pepper, diced
1 cup red bell pepper, diced
12 oz bbq ham, beef or chicken, diced
1 1/2 cup ranch dressing
1 1/3 cup barbeque sauce
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 cup scallions, minced
salt and pepper to taste
my meatless variation
13.5 whole wheat rotini
1 cup green pepper, diced
1 cup red pepper, diced
1 cup english cucumber, sliced crosswise then quatered
6 - 8 green onions siced with green parts
1 tbs mesquite liquid smoke
1 1/2 cup ranch dressing
1 1/2 cup honey barbeque sauce
1 1/2 cup shredded 5 cheese blend
fresh ground pepper
Directions:
1. Cook the Rotini according to package directions. When pasta is al dente , drain in colander
2. Rinse pasta with cold wter untill cool to the touch. Drain well.
3. Put pasta in large mixing bowl and add onions, pepper and meat (or cuke) and toss.
4. Next mix in all remaining ingredients and blend well.
5. Chill. Sprinkle with scallions (or more cheese) and serve.
