Like Scotcheroos but a bit healthier. Be creative with the dry ingredients! You can add wheat germ, other cereals, nuts, craisins, etc.
Ingredients:
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup wheat bran
1 cup all-bran cereal
1 cup rice krispies
1 cup corn syrup
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
Directions:
1. Spray 12x17 jelly roll pan with cooking spray.
2. Put dry ingredients in large bowl.
3. On stove, heat corn syrup and sugar just until it starts to boil.
4. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until smooth.
5. Add this to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
6. Stir in mini chocolate chips.
7. Press in jelly roll pan. Cool. Cut into rectangles.
