Fettuccini With Bacon and Red Peppers

I found this recipe on the internet and it absolutely sounds yummy...
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion, sliced
2 slices bacon, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 (7 ounce) jar roasted red peppers, drained, sliced
1 cup frozen peas, thawed
1/4 cup canned chicken broth
12 ounces fettuccine, freshly cooked
salt and pepper
1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion, bacon and garlic and cook until onion is tender and bacon is cooked, stirring occasionally, about 8 minutes.
2. Stir in peppers, peas and broth and simmer 1 minute. Transfer mixture to large bowl.
3. Add pasta and toss well. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve, passing grated Parmesan separately.
