A little different from others I have found. Very easy, very delicious. From Louisiana cookbook To Good to be True .
Ingredients:
1 cup of soft butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
16 ounces fettuccine
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup romano cheese, grated
1/2 cup whipping cream
pepper and chopped parsley
Directions:
1. Combine soft butter and minced garlic. Put into large saucepan and set aside.
2. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and pour into soft butter and minced garlic. Toss well to combine.
3. Off stove, add cheeses and toss again. Return to very low heat, add cream, and stir constantly until very hot.
4. Pour into serving plates and sprinkle with cracked pepper, additional cheese to taste, and chopped parsley.
5. Serve at once.
