Festive Fruit Salad

A very colorful and great tasting fruit salad
Ingredients:
1 can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbs. all-purpose flour
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 cans (11ounces each) mandarin oranges, drained
1 can (20 ounces) pears, drained and chopped
3 kiwifruit, peeled and sliced
2 large unpeeled apples, chopped
1 cup pecan halves
Directions:
1. Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
2. Set pineapple aside
3. Pour juice into a small sauce pan; add sugar and flour.
4. Bring to a boil
5. Quickly stir in egg; cook until thickened
6. Remove from the heat; cool
7. Refrigerate.
8. In a large bowl, combine pineapple, oranges, pears, kiwi, apples and pecans
9. Pour dressing over and blend well
10. Cover and chill for 1 hour
