This is a pass-down from my cousin I have made it all my own by adding some optional ingredients. If this dish is not eaten the first night put a bit of butter in a skillet & make potato pancakes! Ingredients:
2 cans cream of chicken soup |
1 16oz sour cream ( u won't use it all) |
2 lbs. shredded frozen hashbrowns thawed |
1 cup choppped onion |
2 lbs shredded cheddar chesse |
2 cups crushed cornflakes |
1 stick butter |
optional 1 16 oz jar of mushrooms |
Directions:
1. Pre-Heat oven to 375 2. Melt butter 3. Mix togeher soup, sour cream, chopped onion potato & chesse. I general add my own seasionings at this point use whatever you are comfortable with. 4. Transfer mixture to a large casserole dish 5. Top with cornflakes & pour melted butter over 6. Bake 30-40 mins |
