Fast Chinese Pepper Steak

We usually have this over rice, but it's good with noodles too.
Ingredients:
1 lb round steak, cut in thin slices
2 tablespoons oil
1 medium onion, sliced
1 medium green pepper, sliced
1 envelope au jus mix
3/4 cup water
4 teaspoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Directions:
1. Cook meat, onion, and pepper in oil until meat is browned.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients.
3. Cook and stir for 4 minutes.
