This recipe goes with Ragout Of Lamb
Ingredients:
2 cups milk
1 cup regular cream of wheat (enriched farina)
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 egg yolks, beaten
2/3 cup crushed saltine crackers
vegetable oil
Directions:
1. Heat milk in top of a double boiler; add cream of wheat and salt. Cook 5 minutes or until mixture is thickened, stirring frequently. Cool.
2. Add egg yolks, mixing well. Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in cracker crumbs to coat. Deep-fry balls in hot oil (375°) until golden brown. Serve Farina Balls immediately with ragout.
