Family Favorite Blackberry Cobbler

This is an easy rendition of an old fashioned cobbler. If you have a black iron skillet, of course, that’s the best. If you don’t, don’t worry ~ just use a 12”x8” or 11”x8” baking dish. This little baby will melt in your mouth! Read more ! YUMM! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup milk
3/4 stick butter, melted
2 cups frozen blackberries
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Whisk sugar, flour, and milk until blended. Don’t beat
3. Add butter.
4. Pour batter into lightly greased baking dish or skillet. (I use Baker’s Joy.)
5. Sprinkle berries on top of batter mixture, then sprinkle remaining sugar on top of berries.
6. Bake for 45minutes – 1 hour or until top is light golden brown and cobbler is bubbly.
7. Serve warm with a scoop of French Vanilla ice cream! Yumm! Enjoy!
