Fall Citrus Apple Salad

Easy and delicious salad inspired by a recipe I saw on television! Very adaptable to your own personal tastes.
Ingredients:
salad
mixed greens (i like the bagged kind. whatever's on sale)
1/4 red onion thinly sliced into inch pieces
1 apple or pear of choice, quartered, then sliced thinly
asiago cheese (or other hard cheese of choice), shaved
dressing
1 lemon
3 tbsp of olive oil
fresh thyme
salt/pepper to taste
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, juice the lemon and whisk in the olive oil.
2. Add the thyme, salt and pepper.
3. Slice the apple and stir into the dressing to prevent browning.
4. Add the onion and stir again.
5. Put the mixed greens into a bowl and top with the apple/onion mixture. Toss to spread the dressing.
6. Shave the asiago cheese generously over the top of the salad and eat up!
