This firm loaf can be sliced thick for crisp toast or toasted cheese sandwiches. It's a very traditional loaf and tastes wonderful.

2 cups bread flour
2 tablespoons powdered milk
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
3/4 cup water
Directions:

2. If your bread tends to be a little doughy, cut back slightly on the vegetable oil.
