Topping for enchiladas Ingredients:
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
1/4 cup all-purpose flour |
3 tablespoons new mexico chile powder |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
2 cups water |
2 teaspoons salt |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in large saucepa; stir flour, chili powder and garlic powder. Cook for 1 minute. Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes. |
