Elsie had this one marked as Mother's Old Favorite Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:

3/4 cup butter

1/2 cup sugar

4 eggs

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 cup rich milk or 1/2 cup half-and-half

2 -4 cups flour (enough to make a soft dough)

Directions:

1. Cream butter & sugar.
2. Add eggs, soda and milk.
3. Begin mixing in flour a little at a time until a soft dough forms.
4. Roll out to 1/4 thick and use a cookie cutter.
5. Bake 8 minutes.
