Elmer Fudpucker Cake

This is a delicious cake with a wonderful blend of ingredients from the Friends of Citizens Savings Cookbook. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 (18 ounce) box lemon cake mix (i haven't been able to find orange cake mix) or 1 (18 ounce) box orange cake mix (i haven't been able to find orange cake mix)

1/2 cup liquid shortening

1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding

4 eggs

1/4 cup vodka

1/4 cup apricot brandy

3/4 cup apricot nectar

1 cup powdered sugar

2 teaspoons vodka

2 teaspoons apricot nectar

2 teaspoons brandy

Directions:

1. Mix all ingredients.
2. Beat for 4 minutes.
3. Pour into well-greased and floured angel food pan or bundt pan.
4. Bake 45-50 minutes at 350°F.
5. Mix and heat glaze ingredients and pour over cake.
